Went with wife. Entrance is cheap but not many things to see. Also note that it is climby. Go if you have time in Denia. If not pass your way.

Went to the castle on a nice sunny day with my partner. The entry fee is really cheap can't quite remember the exact price but it was under 10 euros. We loved it, gives you a great view of the surroundings. There's a nice little...More
A good way to spend half a day, in the historic city and then the castle Great views and a small coffee shop too at the top Recommend for 3 hours or so
Advertised as a historic castle with a museum in the grounds this visit disappointed as there was, apart from the old walls, very little to see. A long walk up from the seafront brought little reward really as once through the impressive gate it was...More

Whether exploring around the old town or the castle itself all very interesting- lots of good tapas in the streets below. Castle open late for those needing the cooler air.
Although you can see it from across Denia the castle is surprisingly hard to find due to limited and poor signage. Once there it's a very interesting castle with great views across the city, sea and Montgo. It has a small museum which isn't great...More
Fantastic castle, views tremendous, worth a visit. A lot of steps but graduated, not too hard. We also walked through the underground tunnel, apparently was originally used for smuggling the children out in times of attack.
