The walk up the hill to the cauldrons ( there are actually 2, wee cauldron and larger one further up) is 2 miles ish but not too steep and well worth the climb especially at this time of year with lots of water

Lovely snowy walk with the dog, the wooden walkways at the Cauldron were very slippery but worth the effoert to see the falls. Would love to do it again in the summer.

Nice walk through woodland and by the river with a small section on road. Around 4 miles and took just under 2 hours. Would return again if in the area.

Surrounded by trees and greenery. There is a very well made wooden stair way down to the cauldron. Could be slippy when wet. Quite a climb but worth it. Especially if you are lucky enough to see a red squirrel. We did. There is a...More

We wondered about this, we were thinking some sort of water treatment but doesn't seem likely. If you find out let us know
