An amazing place. You get a feeling of peace and hope. In the gift shop we found the people to be really helpful. They supplied a wheelchair to one of our party who was not feeling well. The well and bathing pool are so beautiful

This St Winfride's visit was truly a unique experience. It is known as the Lourdes of Wales. There were many believers there who had obviously gone there toe healed

This "Lourdes of Wales" is well worth a call for a peaceful break. Tea-room next door as well. There is a small parking opposite which is very handy. Holywell itself worth a little stroll.

As I am neither religious nor Welsh I could perhaps be forgiven for admitting that I had never heard of this place and came upon it by accident. Having done so, and despite an inbuilt sense of cynicism re magical wells at Lourdes and the...More
