I did not do the tour, but you can drive up to the house and walk around the outside for free. It is the largest historic home IN Natchez.

The park ranger, Barney, who led the tour, was so nice, answered all questions, gave so much information, and seemed to care so much about the house that it was very informative and not at all dull!
