Went to this beach with my three children as I was going horseback riding at Tropical Trail Rides nearby, pretty beach, but not very swimmable.

The west side of the island is COMPLETELY different and HIGHLY recommended. PLEASE get out of San Juan and come see this great beach in Isabla. The locals are very friendly and outgoing. Its quieter, peaceful, and there is wildlife here you can't see anywhere else.

I am a little confused by the other reviews. This place is literally between where we stayed 'Fusion ocean front' and Jobos beach. We walked by here several times a day. It's not in anyone's back yard. There are several access points to the road. Last year you could park at Jobos Beach and walk to this spot. Parking at... More

Wow! What a great find due to TripAdvisor! Bit of a walk to get there but my goodness what a surprise. First of all the beach is very beautiful. You can walk in either direction. There is a barrier in the ocean that breaks the waves and makes it a perfect location to snorkel work kids (girls 9 and 11).... More

It is quite literally the backyard of some ocean front properties. This gives it a somewhat uncomfortable access, especially if you are carrying large items like coolers or beach chairs. Parking to get to it could be hard to find and the road is somewhat narrow. These are not exactly bad things. If you are looking for a place that... More

We didn't have our snorkeling gear and so can't comment on that, but saw several snorkelers in the water. The drift was a little bit strong the day we were there in December. But beautiful location, quiet, and tucked away from the crowds.

One of my favorite beaches in PR. Great for kitesurfing/windsurfing and when the wind is down, it's great for surfing too. When the waves are flat you can swim and snorkel. Very laid-back, peaceful, tropical vibe with friendly people.

Beautiful beach, clear blue/green water. Be advised though, that there is a very strong current running east to west, and will pull you over the rocks if you are not careful and alert. At low tide you may be injured scraping over the rocks. I could sit for hours and watch the kite surfers. Extraordinary.

We went in October at low tide and the sea was pretty choppy with high waves down the beach. Cons: Strong rip currents near the shore. Parking is sparse and you need to walk a few blocks. Limited shade Pros: Very pretty Water is clear Lots of urchins Fairly empty of people This place may be better when currents are... More

If you enjoy tropical water sports this beach is the bomb. When there are waves you can surf; great kiteboarding much of the time. Snorkeling and Diving are great here. Not crowded beach and the diving here can be spectacular. There is a great dive on the outer reef and another referred to as "the Isabela Caverns". Get a guide... More
