We enjoyed the cave, however, getting there required us to climb over or under numerous trees on the trail. You will need to be in good shape to make the trek at this time. The ranger was helpful. We got there at the perfect time....More

It is at the mountain range center of the island, you will experience diverse vegetation, birds and insects, the trails are well marked and the main cave (cueva del viento) has a wooden staircase entrace. When you visit make sure you bring water, bug repellent,...More

While not absolutely fantastic, what it lacks in size it makes up for in beauty. Make sure you get good directions and don't rely on your gps.

Husband is the woodsman/camper/hiker in the family so he was excited to walk the forest and enjoy nature. We NEVER found the park. GPS took us to a dead end on a somewhat sketchy road. Went back to the main road to get better directions...More

What a beautiful forest. We were looking for a low stress place to take a walk. This place delivered. It is relatively flat with wide trails. The trees shade the path which is great on a hot day. We saw many birds and I got...More

This is a really great hike. It has many different trails to choose from. We chose to hike to a cave. The terrain to the cave is pretty moderate, not too steep, except at the very last part. They have provided a railing to hold...More

Many trails, great escape, beautiful woods. We love to hike so this was a perfect outing for us. It is pretty close to the main road. There are no real facilities other than bathrooms so bring lots of water. The rangers do not speak English.

Is a pleasant easy hike with good directional signage that you can definitely do on your own even with kids. Bring water and snacks as there is nothing near by to purchase. The entrance is right in front of the parking area... More
