Interesting architecture and good views from the rooftop

The palace is at the end of a peninsula and offers good views of sea and land from its rooftop. It is particularly popular at sunset. It is also interesting for its architecture.

The building is lovely to visit. There is a restaurant (not good) and a rooftop bar (good for views of Punta Gorda and the sea). Visit the bar and enjoy a mojito as you soak in the sun and surf.

There is a restaurant here but we didn't eat there so can't comment. For 2 Cuc's each though you get to have a look around the inside of the building then you can go up to the bar on the roof for a free cocktail. It's really good value. The outside of the building is worth seeing anyway. The architecture... More

One of the most fascinating buildings we saw in Cuba with great views from the top of the building. Inside everywhere you look has interest as there is a real mix of styles on display. The materials alone must have cost a fortune which explains why it bankrupted the owner when the price of sugar crashed.

We were surprised and delighted with this gorgeous old palace. It has been renovated and is most picturesque. Although it started out as a private residence, it now houses a restaurant. The palace is located next door to Hotel Jagua.

Beautiful architecture of the sugar barons villa. It is hard to imagine the splendor in which they lived in the heyday of the Palacio.

Eyses wide open when visiting this multiple style villa. Climb the stairs to the roof terraza and enjhoy the view over the Punta Gorda bay. Pay attention to all kinds of decoration in particular the beautifull artwork of the three wise men in a small corner of the stairway hall

The best place to be is on the roof top terrace of the Palacio. The sunsets and view of the bay is killer. The drinks are good and the band is excellent. Lots of fun at the top, but I don't recommend the food inside the restaurant.

Situated at the end of the Malecon with fabulous panoramic views from roof. Beautiful tiles etc inside and some friends ate at restaurant - great atmosphere but apparently they overcook steaks.

If your Cuban travel takes you to Cienfuegos, this is, a must-see for Moorish architecture in the Caribbean! The main floor serves dinner (reservations required). The upper floor is lovely for cocktails, views of the surrounding ocean, inclusive of the Bay of Pigs. As with many older, pre-Castro properties, up close and personal, you cannot miss how the neglect from... More
