Clean beach. Calm waters in the morning if you are looking for a place to SUP. Parking and washrooms across the street.

This is a beautiful beach. Depending on the time of day this can be a great beach for snorkeling or body surfing. There are a lot of sea turtles in this area. In the afternoon it gets very windy and the surf kicks up. This is the time you can go body surfing. Prepare to have a bucket of sand... More

Arrived at about 9am on a weekday and there was plenty of parking - parking lot is opposite the church about 100m from the beach. It was surprisingly busy at the beach as some tour boats drop off people at this beach. There are also lots of tour boats and kayaks in the water. Snorkelled at the southern end near... More

We came upon this spot after going to Big and Little beach on a sunday, which were packed with people. Maybe 20 people total at this location. Good snorkling and boggie boarding. Bathroom at the south end and some shade trees at the north. It has a great pick up and drop off area at the north too. Very few... More

Very near to Makena beach (Big Beach), but the waves here were a little more kid friendly then at Big Beach. Awesome sunset view as well.

This was our second visit to this beach, and it didn't disappoint. The snorkeling around the left point is fantastic, the sand beach is great to walk and play in the waves on, and the grassy hill overlooking the beach has a lot of shade trees. What more could you want?

We came here as The recommendation for seeing turtles, but found this to be a popular nice standard beach. Despite recommendations, no turtles, and too wavy and sandy to snorkel (visibility) without going out further than our comfort level. I'll put this here because I wish I'd had the info. The main thing we wanted to do was swim with... More

This is a nice beach. Wider strip of sand than many beaches. Good spot for swimming and snorkeling. We saw lots of beautiful fish here. Bring reef shoes as there are many corals and some sharp urchins here. Bathrooms nearby. Not much parking. Bring drinks and food.
