Best in the morning, like most Maui beaches. It's smaller but shallower than most. Very warm and clean and well suited to families. Much calmer sometimes so good for less confident swimmers if the surf isn't too bad.

This little beach is a great spot for family day. The sandy beach is great for playing in and setting up a picnic. The beach is not big and narrows in some sections so you will want to get there early. Snorkeling and diving are popular in this location and include facilities to rinse off after. Close to shops and... More

This is a very calm and peaceful beach. Perfect for families (especially who have little ones). The waves are perfect for the little ones. There are great parking and restroom facilities which make it very convenient. After a day at the beach grab a bite to eat at the Shops at Wailea.

This is a great beach for everyone! Don't let everyone know however because it isn't very big. One can practise their scuba diving or snorkeling here. A place is available to rinse off after before you get in your car or walk down the boardwalk to your condo. A small bit of shade is available, do bring a chair or... More

Good parking and paved access to two mile beach front trail, paved so fine for wheelchairs, running north past a lot of fancy resorts. Some interpretative signs about native plants, 500 year old native structure remains that were moved 800 yards to be along the trail, and whales. This made a nice walk for us on a lightly showery day.... More

Easy access parking and we were able to find a spot without a problem on several occasions. Shower near the bathroom near the beach and before the parking lot. The snorkeling here was good on a windy day. Access to the walk was easy. We also saw turtles and lots of fish.

Mellow, sandy beach, good for swimming and snorkeling. Not much surf, easy to walk out, fairly shallow. Clean and peaceful.

It is a nice beach. There is a shower, restrooms and picnic table above the beach. Most of the time there are nice waves to play in

Stayed at the Fairmont Hotel, Polo Beach right in front on hotel. Lovely sandy beach and the water was oh so warm. Unfortunately we saw more red flag days than not.
