Absolute must do beach for klds

This is an absolute must do beach if you have kids with you. Also the snorkelling is fabulous. Not too easy to find, look carefully for the signs for the beach and parking.

Wailea is a lovely golden sandy beach. Nice walking which includes the beach, around a point, past hotels and condos. A nice outlook and a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. Many beaches like Wailea. Take your goggles and snorkel. There was a turtle swimming right past us mid afternoon. A shame tourists want to get soooo close... More

Initially we went to a beach further North that is a part of a state park. The waves were ferocious. That might be fun for surfers and adults, but I have three younger children... so we went to Wailea Beach. Wailea Beach is a great spot for families. It has easy access, plenty of space, is clean, and the waves... More

What a beautiful stretch of ocean with diverse outlooks from soft sand to volcanic rock. The surrounding properties are stunning and perfectly manicured. Well worth a drive through this high end real estate

Wailea is where the nice resorts are. A small beach shore but clear water (you can snorkel and swim with turtles right there!), beautiful beach walk and a "desert" climate. The low humidity makes it for the best beach in my opinion! It's also less crowded and less commercial than Kaanapali. Perfect for couples and families!

Fronted by Marriott, Grand Wailea, Four Seasons, Fairmont, etc. Nice beach but quite crowded by some of the hotels. Nice, safe water on most days for kids of all ages.

This is a great beach. Watch your back for rogue waves. It is beautiful though and the water is warm. You can go out pretty far in the water and still touch bottom. I would not recommend this Beach for small children. The waves can be a bit crazy. The sand beach is soft and doesn't have a lot of... More

Not the best beach on the island, and you only really feel comfortable there if you're staying at one of the resorts. But you can get a beer from one of those resorts, so there's always a silver lining.
