We visited the speech several times while we were in Maui. The parking is close by and it gives a easy access to the Wailea walking path. We took several beautiful pictures of the sunset from this area. The only downside is that the walking...More

The sand is wonderful and the waves are terrific for beginners (kids) who want to learn to body surf.

Great parking, Public Bathrooms, and a shower make this place popular. What makes it great is the ocean. The reef here is perfect for snorkeling and scuba.

Ulua beach is a very nice beach that has some shade from trees. There are lots of fish, and it is easy to get into the water. Good family spot.

There is a square structure hidden behind vegetation on the north end of the beach. It is made of rock and has some age to it. Initially I thought it was a pill box but there is not any obvious entries. Any ideas or local knowledge as to what it is/was?

Just get on South Kihei Road or Pi'ilani Highway and head south. This beach is right in front of Wailea Elua Village and right next to the new Andaz Wailea resort. There is public parking and restrooms and showers nearby.
