Buttonwood zoo is not large, but it is very kid-friendly. The exhibit signs are clear and understandable. When I went, they had an exhibit on the rain forest - very well displayed and very clearly explained. What impresses me was how the Windows into the...More

This is a small zoo. If you set your expectations appropriately you'll have a great time. When we were there the animals were all very active.

For a small city, this zoo is Big Time. Lots of walking space. Plenty of animals and in a nice easy layout. One small train like ride for the little ones. Seals. Elephants. Cattle. And more. Nice afternoon visit for all.

Poorly run cold place. Elephants reflect years or neglect and bodies are injured from abuse and neglect. Dont give this place your money.

Buttonwood Zoo is a nice family zoo, specially for young children, it has various types of wild and domestic animals for your viewing. A good food area and souvenir store. There are learning centers along your zoo walk.
