We focus on making wine in small lots with primarily Massachusetts-grown grapes, such as Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Vidal Blanc, and Pinot Noir. Travessia wines are an authentic reflection of our local soils and micro-climate. We love to experiment and push the boundaries but our wines are also made with simplicity.

very small storefront with 4 wines available. They're not that great either. They listed the wrong address in last years passport which made it hard getting there last year. This year a CT. winery gave us the wrong passport and we got lost again!

We came across this winery by surprise and were pleased. Service was great. Enjoyed the tasting and brief tour. Unfortunately we didn't love any of the wines but we did love the experience.

We just stopped in briefly to try a couple of wines. The service was friendly and wines were good quality. The tasting room is quite small.

We very nearly didn't find this place because the address we were given from the Rhode Island wine trail website was wrong. It must have been serendipity because just as we were about to give up, we walked straight past the place! It was meant...More

We went to New Bedford to visit this winery. The flag said OPEN so we parked the car. When we arrived at the door, it was locked. There were people inside for a tasting and someone serving. Those inside saw us but we were ignored....More

Highly recommend the pino noir rose for the red favorite. I enjoyed almost all the whites. My favorite were the riesling and vidal blanc. Not surprising the Vidal Glassman grapes are from Running Brook N Dartmouth which has great vidal blanc a short 15 minutes...More

Stopped into Travessia with my husband, my cousin and her husband last weekend. We entered the tasting area and was half-heatedly greeted by the employee. The tasting area was quite full and there seemed to be only one person working the entire floor. We sampled...More

We stopped at winery, located in New Bedford, on one of the cobblestone streets near the water. It's a beautiful little city with a plethora of highly recommended restaurants. We were warmly welcomed into the winery. They do not grow any of their own grapes....More
