Great retail therapy at Gallery Walk, Tamborine Mountain. Friendly shops - within ten minutes we had parted with Aus$150 for a very fine necklace, as well as several other purchases. Men beware....it's girlie heaven!

I found this well worth the money. There are quite a few boards on the walk to read, both that point out types of trees, as well as information about the plants, animals and history. This one is quite an eye opener!

About 40 minutes away from the Surfers Paradise resort where we were staying and we were immeidately there at Mount Tambourine. There is a largish carpark at the "start" of Gallery Walk. There is street parking along the walk, and many of the shops have a small carpark in front. No issue parking on a non-peak period like this month.... More

Always busy, plenty to see and do. Unfortunately, parts are very "kitsch". A new "mock castle" is an embarrasment to the whole area! (Montville on the Sunshine Coast is comparable, but much more attractive)

If you love shopping for frivolous items, this is the place to go. There are plenty of "specialty" shops made not so special because there is another one selling the same wares a few doors down. There are a few exceptions. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants here. Parking is difficult in busy times. If you are feeling energetic... More

Every time I visit Mt Tamborine, a walk along the Gallery Walk is a 'must do' and an essential part of any visit to Mt Tamborine. Most of the best and most interesting shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and arts and crafts shops and gift and souvenir shops are along here. Very relaxing and refreshing. It is a refreshing hide... More

I enjoyed that most of the shops were in walking distance. But there was hardly anywhere to eat for dinner. Not many places for breakfast either. If you're keen for brunch/lunch then there's no issue. Shop outlets were also pretty cool to look at. A lot of decor goes into each shop to make it look their own. High price... More

If you go to Mt Tamborine you have to walk the gallery walk. Have a coffee or an ice cream and wander the shops. Its not huge so don't expect it to be a whole-day activity. There are a few restaurants around the mountain to have dinner later.
