With the road up to the Glacier closed we opted for Gillespies Beach as we never had been there previously. The drive to the beach itself is worth the effort as it runs through beautiful native bush - admittedly at reduced speed. The beach offers...More

It’s a challenge to get to, 20 minutes down a narrow lane. Once you get there you realise it’s a popular campsite! The beach is pebbles but the views are great.

Nice beach, campsite is expensive for a carpark with a toilet and a sink with water that requires boiling.
