Went swimming here with the family. Great place for a picnic. The water was great. We had fun looking for river snails.

Rented a boat from Twin Lakes Landing and resort. The price was great compared to other boat rentals I had searched for. The people at twin lakes were friendly and helpful as I am a novice when it comes to boats. The lake was great and the area seemed clean. I think this lake is off the beaten path and... More

For the history lover, visiting the state's CCC Museum is a must. The WPA program in South Carolina is well-documented here. The lake is very beautiful and looks inviting for boating or just a leisurely lunch at one of the picnic tables.

Our first camping trip of the 2016 season and it was a success. Lake Greenwood is absolutely hidden jewel. We had a great spot and it was very peaceful. I would recommend this campgrounds to anyone looking for the opportunity to get away.

We dropped by here on our way back home from Congaree NP and Dreher Isladn State Park, just before hitting Ninety-Six National Historic Monument. And it was a very pleasant place. The lake is very pretty and apparently people like to get married there due to the scenery. But even more impressive is the CCC museum in the visitors center... More

Great state park and Civilian Conservation Corps museum, only draw back was that the camping spots were tight for campers to maneuver ( travel trailers) in the 25 foot range

Maybe the best state park in SC. It has beautifully wooded site right on Lake Greenwood. Bring your boat!

Second visit to this park and wow, many updates have been done since our last visit! There are two campgrounds at the park, with campground #1 being recently updated with new electrical hookups, water, sewer, repaving, and mulch. Very clean bathrooms but make sure you take a shower during low-demand times. Water pressure and hot water can be somewhat non-existent... More

Run by the State of South Carolina, inexpensive, clean showers and bath rooms. Power and water on sites, gates closed by Park Rangers after dark, if an emergency happens, they are on site. A lot of camp sites are on the water of Lake Greenwood, a good clean lake to swim, fish, ski or swim in.

A very nice state park. We went during the off season and was very peaceful and quiet. The fish there is pretty good. I've heard of big cat fish being caught, however i was not so lucky. The restroom was very clean and the staff was nice.
