Cannon Hall Farm is a large, family run farm attraction. Sitting in the rolling Pennine foothills, it's home to hundreds of animals, waiting to welcome you to a world of animal magic. Home to one of the biggest and best equipped playgrounds in the north of England and the largest tube maze in Europe our adventure playground is one of the biggest and best in the north of England. The farm shop is famous for home produced beef, pork, lamb and a huge variety of sausages. Our on site bakery produces award winning pies and delicious artisan bread every morning. The tearoom serves delicious home cooked food. New for 2015, The Hungry Llama indoor play and restaurant adds a great indoor option with some dramatic slides and innovative play features to a day that's already packed with fun. Winner of Best Tourism Experience at The White Rose Awards in 2011, Cannon Hall Farm was highly commended in the same category in the Visit England Awards 2012. The farm won the New Innovation Award for it's new farmyard in the National Farms for Schools Awards 2015 and has been shortlisted for the Best Large Attraction Award at the White Rose Awards in both 2014 and 2015.

We decided to take our young granddaughter to cannon hall and were pleasantly surprised to be told that entrance was half price £3.95 for each of us. The farm has lots to do for all ages. Lots of barns containing pigs with piglets, lamas, sheep, goats and cows. Lots of things going on including ferrite and sheep racing. There is... More

A bit of everything for the whole family and the food shop is so tempting, the staff are friendly and will always go out of their way to help you, the facilities are second to none, (hot beef sandwich is delicious).

It's not often that time allows a relaxed cooked breakfast and having been before I took the opportunity to visit Cannon Hall. I ordered the Farmers Breakfast with tea. The only thing which was hot was the tea! The food was obviously prepared fresh and then placed in chafing units which is perfectly reasonable for a high turnover system but... More

The farm shop has been extended and is now bright and airy. The butchers section is excellent and the artisan breads are wonderful but some of the other products are slightly overpriced. It is also surprising that they do not stock more products Made In Yorkshire as there are smaller farm shops that stock a very good range. A little more... More

Thank you for your feedback which is always valuable. I think you might be surprised at just how many Yorkshire products we do have on our shelves, but as it is a large shop with a huge amount of choice, some products can get lost amongst the huge range that we carry. We've thought of having a 'Yorkshire section' of... More

The panto was small but perfect for children that are young and for our autistic child. Not too loud or flashing lights and informal enough for them to feel relaxed. As for the farm we haven't visited for a few years and was disappointed . You can know longer hand feed the animals and there isn't that many of them... More

I'm glad you enjoyed the pantomime and found it ideal for your autistic child. We've never had more animals than we do now and, with over 2000 born on site every year there is always something new to see. We have got a new area coming along soon with some more, smaller animals that children will be able to interact... More

visited this place a short while back and I must say it is a wonderful farm and very child friendly. Lots to do besides just seeing the animals as there is an indoor and outdoor play area which can be supervised by adults while enjoying a hot beverage. There is also a number of cafes which serve delicious hot and... More

We went to the farm. The animals all look clean and looked after. However i feels it's very overpriced which was a let down. I would still return!
