I visited several years ago with visiting family members. It is very interesting that the house was considered outside the city of Macon at one time. The is kept meticulous, and the guides are very informative. It is a must see.

In its day, it was probably very beautiful. The house is currently being renovated. When it is finished, it will be a splendor to see. The guide was good. The house was hot. I thought the price of the ticket was high for the attraction.

Michael is correct. The tours are hourly. There is a $4 extra charge to see the upper levels or $20 at certain times for the "behind the scenes" tour. All very worth it.
