Small museum ina very large facility. Quirky exhibits when we were there, enjoyed the artworks very much - but they rotate exhibits like most museums do, of course, so what you see when you visit might be different from the artists we saw when we...More

The museum has a wonderful exhibit of Georgia artists. Good exhibit on Harriet Tubman and a good video of Otis Redding. It even has hidden surprises such as Little Richard's piano! Support this museum!

We enjoyed learning about Harriet Tubman and other historical locals from Macon, GA. While we were there we also enjoyed a wonderful display on Otis Redding. They even had Little Richard's piano! The local artist gallery was amazing.

The Harriet Tubman Statue is worth the price of admission alone. Speaking of the price of admission, it is probably one of the most inexpensive museums I've visited. I've traveled to numerous museums around the world and have paid more for a whole lot less....More

On our visit we were disappointed that there wasn't more info on the amazing namesake of this museum, and at the small amount of African-American Art displayed. Great building, so-so museum.
