We learned a lot from the very knowledgeable volunteer docents who staff this centre. The variety of different sea creatures was amazing. We never knew there were so many varieties of anemones before. Nor had we seen sea cucumbers before. Admission is by donation. The Center is also located right on the shore near the ferry terminal. We considered it... More

The staff and volunteers are knowledgable and friendly! The touch tanks allow you to interact with common sea creatures, the octopus is a must see, and the other exhibits show a variety of sea life! The facility is small but is full of amazing things to see!

Just wandered in to see the octopus and met Alex who very generously shared his knowledge about the local sea life ... Fascinating! The man really knows his stuff. I left and starting thinking about other questions I wish I could have asked. I will visit again.

Very good displays with very knowledgeable people to explain the animals. Lots of hands-on young and old kids.

We all walked in and we're fretting nicely and taken around all the tanks with the nicest and most informative gentleman we could have hoped for. He really knew about all the "creatures" in there and made our visit so interesting. A nice surprise!!

Heading into Port Angeles I noticed this little place in my AAA book. It said it was FREE after Labor Day so we figured we would stop in. When we arrived the front desk staff said they had changed their policy and it was not free. We were initially bummed, but paid since we had made the effort to stop... More
