We visited the temporary building. Nothing exciting to look at, but the women working there were super helpful! We were disappointed because the road to hurricane ridge was closed and trying to figure out what else to do. She spent 10 minutes with us showing...More

The Visitor Center itself was closed for remodeling, but the Park is spectacular. Hurricane Ridge was socked in, which is not unusual, but the drive there is worth the effort. The Olympic Mountains are overlooked by many, but they certainly shouldn't be.

Spend some time there after visiting the upper deck viewing and the back side patio. It is cold there.

They are in a temporary building. The rangers and staff were very friendly. The are very knowledgeable of the Olympic National Park and weather conditions. I would advise stopping by the visitor center before embarking on your journey.

We went in with a lot of questions on what to see, what to do, and how to get there. The staff was patient and answered all of our questions and gave us good information.

Beautiful area. Nice variety of hikes from minimal to serious! Being from California I was overwhelmed with the beauty of rain forests and water. Freshest air I've inhaled! We traveled late September and had beautiful weather. Sunny and almost balmy during the day.

We purchased a pass for $25 and it gave us access to the park for a week! Being there are many entrances, this came in handy! Well worth the trip!!

There's a small shopping center Forks Outfitters on the south side of Forks that might let you stay there. There's also an RV park the Forks 101 RV Park which is across 101 from the outfitters on a side street.
