I've been going here since I was little. From hanging out and feeding the ducks, to renting paddle boats, to riding rides and getting some snacks, to watching fireworks and enjoying the booths of the Native American celebration, Liberty Park offers a lot. The park is huge, second only to Sugarhouse Park in size, and attracts a diverse population who... More

Just about anything that you can think of for a park to have, they do! The kids playgrounds are amazing, especially the one on the North side of the park. There is a restaurant in the park. Tracy Aviary is located in the park as well. No matter what you want to do, Liberty Park has it! There is even... More

One of the best parks I've visited. It's a great place to hang out at with friends and family. Also it's a great park for getting some exercise done. They got s great track for people to jog/run on. And also a great area for those who just want to walk or get on their skate board or roller blades.... More

This is probably the best park in Salt Lake City, it's large, lots of things to do within the park, and lots of space. Great for summer barbecues, volleyball with friends, or a bike ride, but it's great all year round. The Tracy aviary within is must see. Be careful driving through of people riding bikes or running, also it's... More

Beautiful tree-filled park with a lake at the south end of the park. Great for running, walking the pooch, and picnicking. Just be careful after dark since the surrounding area is relatively higher crime section of town.

I grew up two streets from the park and have spent countless days there, both as a youth and adult. Always great for an evening stroll, the park is also host to concerts, professional beach volleyball tournaments, and Sunday drum circles. It is THE place to go on Pioneer Day (July 24th) for the Deseret News Marathon, Pioneer Day Parade,... More

We wanted to walk for an hour away from traffic our first morning in Salt Lake City, and we drove to Liberty Park. It is a several acre park with an aviary and multiple walkways. There is an inner oval loop called the Golden Mile that is actually about a mile and a third, but each quarter mile is marked... More

Coming from a tropical country made me realize that sometimes it was nice to have a different type of season. This year I have to endure fall season in Utah with my husband. I thought it is a nice thing to see the changes that happen around here especially the leaves. I always love trees but I haven't had the... More

Our October visit to the city needed a refreshing stroll and Liberty Park fit the bill. The trees were in full autumn color and the cool breeze kept it fresh. Free parking is available on all sides of the park. Lots of picnic tables and grill stations too. A nice respite from the concrete and asphalt.

Beautifully maintained park and very popular with the locals. It's a perfect place to walk, swim, learn to play tennis, visit the Aviary, picnic and "Strut Your Mutt" - an annual fall event that showcases some mighty fine looking dogs and their proud owners. Liberty Park is where the city's spirit of community is refreshed.
