Holy wow! We came out to Park City while my husband worked. Looking for things to do, we decided to check out the Great Salt Lake. We came. $3 entrance fee was reasonable. Kids got on their suits and ran to the beach. Lots of...More

This campground has all the necessary hookups. The washrooms are clean and nice. The beach here is not nice but we only stayed the night so we were ok with it. The campground was clean and the staff friendly.

We went here hoping to find an abundance of bird life as there is supposed to be a wildlife preserve associated with this state park. We didn't find it and there were only a few sea gulls to be seen. This spot seems to be...More

This is a great place to both see and learn intimate details about the lake. The visitor center has a lot more inside than it looks like from the outside. Be sure to go in.

Very interesting to see the great salt lake surrounded by the mountains. Water was low so long walk out to wade in the water. Beautiful scenery.

We flew into SLC at night and planned to drive southeast to Arches National Park then onto Grand Junction CO the next am. We woke before dawn and drove West just to see the Great Salt Lake while here. It was worth the extra time...More

I would suggest going in the visitor's center while you are here. And reading all the little plaques that are set up outside. Not only was it beautiful, but I also learned a lot of really interesting facts about the Great Salt Lake.

I know that the State Parks are lacking funding, but this is a meager effort even by those standards. A glorified trailer is the Visitor Center where a movie runs on a loop and a half dozen pictures with captions adorn the walls. Yes, the...More

Went here expecting a park but instead was just a small place to park and view the lake. Enjoyed my time visiting the lake but underwhelmed by the park.

If you are in Utah, especially the northern part, make sure you go to the Great Salt Lake Park and check in all the views, mountains, and rock formations. This is gods country and you need to visit here.

I'm not really sure what wildlife there is to see here. The park itself is pretty small, and other than some birds, I didn't see much of anything other than the lake while there.

Hi, huiling s. I went to Antelope Island last July. I doubt that you can get to Antelope Island by public transportation. It is about one hour and forty minutes' drive north of Salt Lake City. You have to get out to Antelope... More
