We went to hear the Tabernacle Choir free concert Sunday morning. What a treat. This would cost $100+++ anywhere else.

Wow! Who knew this would be an amazing and beautiful experience. The choir sounds angelic. The organ has over 11,000 pipes! Both the north and south visitor centers have either a statute of Jesus or a replica of the tabernacle itself. Loved the entire experience...More

An amazing musical experience - listening to this Choir in person is much better than hearing it on television or the radio. The choir, the orchestra, and the organ are all outstanding. You will leave a rehearsal or the actual Sunday concert feeling better than...More

If you get the chance to hear the absolute best choir in the world, don't pass it up! You don't have to be religious to appreciate the beauty and precision of these angelic voices.

It's difficult to get tickets to the MTC concerts as they sell out quickly but one can always attend their practices on Thur evenings on Temple Square.

Do you know of any guided train tour from Denver to Salt Lake? If I come by train how far away is a hotel that would then be in walking distance to the Tabernacle to go to an organ or choir concert? What hotel is recommended to walk to the Tabernacle? When is the best time of year to visit?
