Stopped on a road trip that had us on highway 60 in Missouri. This park is very pretty. The spring fed water is light blue/aqua and so clear...very peaceful

Big Springs (Missourians always say it with an 's' even though we know there is only one spring) has not changed in 40 years. It is a beautiful creation and worth the visit.

Spring Flooding has done damage at this park. Dozens of large trees still laying unattended and the pavilion roof caved in. Part of the trail is inaccessible due to fallen rocks. Having said all that, the spring can still be viewed and it is beautiful....More
