This Park is well thought out and I love the collection of historic homes that were moved here. Each home is a cultural museum with the exception of the Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce, This is a great place to come for taking family photos. The city has many functions here so check the city website to find out details.

Was not sure what to expect. But found twelve older homes that need much exterior repair. And a look through some of the windows found the interior in even greater need. Grounds were not manicured. Not sure what the draw is. Can spend about an hour reading the placards that give a history of each home but you can only... More

Went there seeking history of the area and found it plus many other interesting topics. It is similar to any city history/cultural center as it is filled with artifacts and exhibits, but this center is professionally done with impressive exhibits that are new and well kept.

We were looking forward to spending a few hours here, only to find that the only buildings that were open were ones that were occupied by agencies. We were invited to explore one of these, but that involved walking into people's offices. The grounds were pretty and the outside of the building were cool (representing different architectural designs). There were... More

A street with many restored historic homes. We have driven through this area many times over many years on the way to activities at the Selena auditorium. I have never seen any activities at any of the homes. The homes seem to be closed with nobody around them. I have heard that some times there are activities at these homes.... More

This a a great idea that more cities should think about. Many historical homes and homes of influential residents have been relocated to this park. Organizations then adopt these old homes and restore them to useable structures instead of hangouts for homeless and drug dealers which many were prior to being moved to Heritage Park. As most have noted the... More

A gathering place in Corpus Christ. Many old original homes that have been restored, most of which preceded the killer storm of 1919. Nice walk through the gardens and during the festivals (of which there are many), a central location for activity.

I've attended a couple of summer evening Municipal Band concerts at Heritage Park. The atmosphere was magic...music wonderful and free. The yard in front of the Galvan House was perfect and sheltered from the wind. I hope the City repeats the series again in 2015. I heartily recommend any resident or visitor NOT miss this wonderful community offering and I... More

My husband and I live in Corpus Christi and this is one of our favorite places to stroll through on a nice Sunday afternoon. The older homes are beautiful and the area is quite peaceful unless there is a special event going on, yet as other reviewers pointed out the houses are not open to the public. We have never...
