Dirty, too many people, limited parking, no shade. There are much better places to visit if you want to see the beach.

When we arrived on a Friday afternoon...was extremely crowded..there was barely room to drive, no parking was left open at all, the pier looked good, but did not get a chance to explore it...

This place is great to enjoy the view of the beach and also to see how the waves hit the down part of the pier making a great background for pictures

Awesome beach views, lots of sea birds, a few surfers, and great place to grab a drink, relax, and enjoy the seashore.

$3 per person if you want to walk out on the pier - there is a restaurant on the pier but it's not open for breakfast. Nice beach - great place to watch the waves crash against the pier.

Right down the road is the National Seashore and it is only $20 a year for membership. Complete with showers and RV hookups, not sure if they charge but look them up. That would be the best place to camp.
