Great View!

While we didn't hang around too long due to our schedule, the view was absolutely breathtaking and mesmerizing. Totally worth the drive to get there.

In the winter months there are many species coming through our area- if you are patient and you have a camera? jackpot! Lovely places as well- even though there are some industrial back drops here and there...

IF you are into birding, this is a wonderful trail. The variety of birds, depending on the season, is beyond counting. Forget about trying to identify the birds and just see how many different ones you can spot. Also good walking trails in the various units so good exercise too.

Our favorite stops were Goose Island State Park and Aransas National Wildlife Refuge because of the diversity (all kinds... More
