The surf museum is the real deal. Classic boards on display showing the history of surfing the south coast. Really good energy in here. The people are cool, surfers, and its right next door to the executive surf club. Check out the yoga class on...More

Nice little museum but a little more effort in enhancing the number of displays would be nice. If you are into surfing this place if for you. I enjoyed the stories behind the pictures and the boards but was left wishing there was more to...More

Next to a great little seafood restaurant, Executive Surf Club (dog friendly patio), this free donation based museum is a great stop. Interesting exhibits and a couple short videos, just walk around and enjoy.

I don't know much about surfing but it was interesting to find out that there's a history of surfing on the Texas Gulf Coast. If you know more about surfing you'll probably love it. Admission is free, so if you're in the area, stop in.

Attended a private dinner for 30 at the Surf Museum. Great food and a great space for a small gathering. Unique and has some great history on the walls!

The museum is rather small but I'm not a surfer so it may be of interest to surfers. If you're in the area you may want to go but I certainly wouldn't travel too far to go.

As an old surfer from S. California, i really enjoyed the surf museum. The evolution of boards, from the long board to radicle "sticks", back to the long board and now a variety depending on where you surf. The surf museum captures it all.
