They mostly have monkeys that's your main attraction. It's a very clean zoo. The staff is very friendly, they let you stay one hour after closing for free.

I love Zoo's and have visited many in a lot of different places. What I really like about this zoo is that you feel very close to the animals. You are able to see them so close that you could touch them if not for...More

We really enjoy this zoo more than others near by. It is so clean and you get to feed the giraffes by hand, so cool. The monkeys are funny and always doing something that makes us laugh. Prices of drinks are a little high

I went to Gladys Porter Zoo, and it was one of the best Zoo trips I'd ever had. The only complaint I have is the poor health conditions. Some of the animals are really skinny, and the team there could at least scrub the top...More

Hello. There is no outside food permitted at the zoo. They have four concession stands throughout that provide food. There is one that sells pizza and beer. The others offer hamburgers, hot dogs, popcorn, nachos and more.
