Great big beautiful beach without much activity. I enjoyed the day looking for shells and watching the sea birds chasing the surf. The only disappointment was the trash that washes up including pill packs!

I do not really go to this beach, but when I do I love it!. It is such a virgin beach compared to the neighboring beaches of South Padre Island and Playa Baghdad. I wonder how the new SpaceX Center will affect it.

We visited Boca Chica Beach in the early afternoon and had no concern for our safety. There were folks swimming and no life guards or beach patrol so one needs to be careful. I dont think I would hang around here after... More
