This is not a must see or anything but it was cool to see how the bank operates in the early 1800's. Would recommend if you are in the area. The woman who gave the tour was very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Very helpful!! Lady there knew everything you could want to know about Petersburg. One thing I learned while there was all restaurants in downtown Petersburg are private owners not franchises, so you really get a true taste of Petersburg!

A well-preserved 19th-century bank on the ground floor. This is also the visitors’ center and we found the staff (of one) to be very friendly and helpful, and also genuinely knowledgeable about Petersburg, not just the bank. Get a map for your self-guided walking /...More
