The Albuquerque BioPark comprises a zoo, aquarium, and botanical garden. Each are worth a visit. They are attractions that you might not expect in a city like Albuquerque, and on that note are all the more remarkable.

Whatever time of the year the Bio-Park is a joy to visit. Whether you spend 30 minutes or 3 hours you will not be disappointed. At Christmas it has a 'River of Lights' nightly show which is unbelievable, so don't miss it.

There was a wide variety of gardens along with a farm and a neat kids play area. The were already setting up the light displays in October which looked like they'd be really cool at night.

Depends on whether a NM resident or not. $9 for a single attraction for adults $12.50 if not a NM resident for a single attraction.

There is not a hotel at the botanical gardens. So, not sure what hotel you're talking about, but Albuquerque does have a pretty good bus system.
