I went in the middle of the day, so a lot of the animals, especially the big cats, were napping. The "enclosures" seem small for some of the animals, elephants, hippos, rhinos. A volunteer was walking around with a screech owl and talking about the...More

They are doing construction, so~ 20% of the zoo is blocked off. But it's a good zoo for a small city, and a good way to pay off the kids at the end a vacation week of trading off between museum days and hiking days....More

This zoo is well curated and beautiful. The kids had a great time and we were able to see so many animals that were on exhibit. It looks like they are constructing a number of new exhibits, so my guess is that this will be...More

Visited the Bio Park which is always one of my favorite things to do. The price is reasonable and its a plus when you have an El Paso Zoo membership you get a good discount.

We visited the park in February, so a lot of the plants were dormant. However, we were able to appreciate the serenity of the location during our one hour walk. Will definitely want to visit again in the bloom of spring or summer!

The Bio Park is one of my favorite places in ABQ. The botanical gardens are beautiful in all four seasons. The River of Lights during the holidays are the highlight of Christmas for me. It is a fairyland.

We did the full day with the train pass and did the aquariam, zoo and botanical garden. I was surprised with the number of exhibits we got to see in one day for a low-price. Well worth your day.

Depends on whether a NM resident or not. $9 for a single attraction for adults $12.50 if not a NM resident for a single attraction.

There is not a hotel at the botanical gardens. So, not sure what hotel you're talking about, but Albuquerque does have a pretty good bus system.
