I saw signs at the depot about the tenth anniversary of the Rail runner and I can't believe this is this first time I've ridden it! Being my first time, I experienced all things associated with my initiation to the rail runner, including missing my connection. I found that it is cheaper to purchase your tickets on line and it... AHHH Riding on the New Mexico Rail Runner, is a pleasurable ride from Albuquerque to Santa Fe. The cost is very reasonable also. The best time to ride the train is anytime when you bring the family with kids.

Great, relaxing way to travel between Albuquerque and Santa Fe. The Rail Runner travels most of the way in the Rio Grande valley through the Pueblos (no photos!) with great views. I last travelled up to Santa Fe for Zozobra in earl September.

We love riding on trains, and the Rail Runner is great for a day long jaunt. We took a ride from Santa Fe to Belen to visit the Harvey house Museum there. The views from the train are outstanding, and as we past different stops we discovered more places we could visit. This service is really for commuters going in... More

The New Mexico RailRunner is a regional commuter train that runs about 100 miles north-south from Santa Fe to Belen. The best part of the trip is the quiet, smooth ride due to modern, welded rails. No more of the old train "clickety-clack" with its resultant sway.

We took the Rail Runner from Albuquerque to spend the day visiting Santa Fe. The round trip ticket for my wife and I was $14 total and that ticket was good for riding public transportation in both Sante Fe and Albuquerque. The bus stop is 100 yards from where you step off the train; however, downtown Santa Fe is within... More

Comfortable transport from ABQ to Santa Fe. Tickets are bought on the train or online ($1 less). Make sure to buy a day pass as this is only $1 more than a one-way. Limited number of departures outside rush hours so be sure to schedule around it. Don't take photos when driving through the reservations (staff will inform about the... More

Took the Rail Runner from Sandoval station to Santa Fe. Very reasonable fares & discounts for kids & seniors. Took about an hour. Clean & comfortable. Would recommend as parking in Santa Fe is hard to find. Within walking distance of town plaza.

The times I have had to go the Santa Fe - Albuquerque route I have enjoyed the ride immensley. They have the quiet cars for those wanting to read, Ipad, computer stuff and I appreciate they do keep these cars QUIET. No talking on cell phones!!! Relaxing...... beautiful views. I have heard that the present Governor hates this mode of... More
