Nice little zoo, the day gives you heaps if time to conquer the zoo. Towards the end of the day alot of the animals are heading indoors and then it becomes a game of find the animals with the kids, tho the big kids (adults) enjoyed that also. Def do all the bigger animals first as they tire out. Great... More

Very busy, so much construction hard to navigate. Be prepared for lots of exibits to be closed. Frustrating visit for family with small children. Parking is terrible.

We were there off season and they are putting in a new penguin exhibit so some parts of the zoo are not accessible. Only one open resteraunt. The polar bears the main reason we went we're amazing

The Albuquerque Zoo is one of the nicest zoo's I've ever seen. This place is just a wonderful outing for you and the kids. Not exactly easy to find as it is not on the beaten path but well worth the effort to find it. Not at all expensive including the small eating establishment and/or vendors. The animals have spacious... More

We had some extra time so decided to check out this zoo. It is small but exhibits are very well done and was very impressed. There is quite a few construction projects going on so I think it will be even better.

This is a great little zoo. You can easily spend several hours walking around in it. They have the cutest seal I have ever seen, such a show-off and very affectionate. I would definitely recommend this zoo to anyone visiting Albuquerque.

I love the ABQ Biopark Zoo. It is my all-time best. It has a good selection. You can see the flamingos, the primates (gorillas, ...), the hippos, white rhino, Tasmanian devil, feed the giraffes, see the elephants,... and even listen to good music in the summer while sitting on the grass.

This is a great zoo spread out over a large area under huge cottonwoods that provide nice shade during the warmer months. They are many unique ways to view animals including big cats walking directly above your head. There is a zoo train that connects you with Aquarium Park. Great way to see a large variety of animals including many... More

Very nice Zoo, but large part undergoing renovations. Did like that we could get close to Gorillas and several other exhibits. GREAT place for kids, lots of picnic tables and green space scattered around. Definitely bring food if you have kids. For a small-ish Zoo, we were very PLEASED.
