Excellent landscaping walking along the always-interesting Big Thompson River & past its confluence with the Fall River. Two weeks in a row we saw a bear about 1 hour after sundown at the very far western end of the walkway past the P.O. parking lot & past the tiny playground. It's kinda darkish at that hour & not too many walkers. Mr. Bear was making his usual rounds of all the trash cans (he never finds any food but it's always worth checking). The first time we gave him quite a start & he half ran/half swam to the other side of the stream--appropriately afraid of us. The next week we saw him making his rounds on he far side of the river. Always a good walk

Walking around was beautiful. The elk were out for viewing as well. The water was flowing and was clear and clean. Well manicured lawns as well. Peaceful land enjoyable.

Enjoyable walk by the Visitors Center and take it as far as you want. It was a beautiful day so we took it as far as we could and came back the same way. Many shops and places to get a snack, drink or full meal.

We saw Elk twice while walking the Riverwalk. They were huge! It is an easy walk with great views of the river.

The Riverwalk is very well maintained and the path it takes you on weaves it's way around the river and through town. I have never seen a walkway so CLEAN!
