It was a rainy day so we decided to take in the tour of the Stanley. It starts of with a pretty bad movie staring "Scary Mary", well she is not scary in fact its kinda cheesy. But we did enjoy the tour, they start you off outside and explain how the hotel did not start off white and why... More

I do not recommend this tour at all. It's all based on fictional stories, supposed "paranormal" experiences of guests. So lame, we had this odd 19 year old woman on our tour that had "spirits" keep lifting her arm up during the tour. Because it was the spooky tour, we did not get to really see anything of the stanley,... More

My mom and I came to the Stanley Hotel 4 days ago. I have a conference starting tomorrow there. This morning we booked the Stanley Hotel Tour at 10:00 AM. DD was our guide and I highly recommend her. The tour was very interesting on the history of the area and the hotel, cinema, and the super natural. The over... More

Awful tour. Huge emphasis on the history of the Stanley brothers who built the hotel - same namesake as the Stanley Steamer. Lacks heavily on ghosts, spirits, and paranormal stories. Tour guides are goofy in an awkward mom way. They also have no issue with touching and grinding on guests to "show" how the resident ghost may get in your... More

Even if your aren't a big Stephen King fan you'll enjoy this tour. The building is full of fascinating stories about the Stanley family, who has had much more influence on history than you realize. Our guide Leigh was funny and full of facts and information about the building and it's "inhabitants". The building has a long history and plenty... More

We were stuck here due to snow, and happened into the 9pm tour with Andy. He was so cool and so much fun. Parts were a little creepy but not overdone. Andy made the tour enjoyable. We did hear two piano keys play in the concert hall when no one was on the stage. Overall we had a blast. Andy... More

We had a family reunion and 10 of us went on the ghost tour. All of us wanted to know why the Stanley is said to be 'haunted'. Scary Mary never would answer our question. We felt stupid singing songs in a dark room with strangers and holding lollipops in our hands, waiting for them to move. $50 for two... More

The Stanley Hotel is a fun place to visit. We walked the outside and looked at all the statues they had around nad a nice garden. The inside has a old Stanley Steamer Car, Piano, they do ghost tours however we did not do that activity. It is a very nice place to just walk around and enjoy all they... More

I thought the tour was a joke. The tour guide picked my family out because we were too quiet She made us out to be a joke because we didn't hold her pencils or lollipops. The price of the tour was expensive so expected more for the money. Just because we did not feel like participating did not mean we... More

If you get the chance do the 9pm tour then you won't be rushed by other groups going through. Don't worry if you go by day either though as a lot of sightings photographed that you'll be shown were taken during the day! The guide was very informative and really knew all his history on the place. Really fascinating and... More
