Great small town to explore. It was a quiet yet old country clean town. We enjoyed walking the street with lots of stores, souvenirs shop and restaurants. Love the atmosphere of the mountain , green pinetrees , small bridges and running creeks to see. Excellent weekend getaway with family.

This is a good place to start any visit to Estes Park. The building looks new and it's one of the nicest visitor centers I've been in especially for a small town like Estes Park. A river runs next to it and there is plenty of parking but it can get crowded because they offer nice clean bathrooms and plenty of brochures & visitor magazines. The employees inside will answer your questions and are very friendly. If visiting this area I would recommend stopping here so you get a good idea what to see. You could miss something by not visiting here. You might even see some wild life.

We visited the Visitor Center each time we walked from our lodge to town because it was immaculately clean and the restrooms were also. Well-stocked with literature and re-stocked during the day.
