We explored the many interconnected little shops in the Old Town Artisans area hoping to find something that would interest us. We generally find unusual things in complexes such as this where independent artisans produce their products and we are willing to pay for their...More

We stopped by Old Town Artisans because it was listed in one of the tour guide books. According to one of the shop owners it used to be the center of Tucson. But now most of the area around this is now housing and businesses....More

This place has a bit of everything: antiques, handicrafts, records, clothing, food, tee-shirts, primitive art, pottery, etc. It seems to be in one big interconnected old building, where you move from room to room and shop to shop. There is a cantina/coffeehouse in the middle...More

We had not been here for over five years, and things have changed. Before, there was so much Southwestern Art by local artists here. I don't know where all that went. We used to marvel at the pottery, the paintings and the weavings. Now, it...More

Looks small till you realize all the shops are connected. There's even a good pub, cantina, and small kitchen that serves all the tables in the court yard. Worth visiting just for the record shop or the art that is practically everywhere. Use Google maps...More

The "Published" address for this attraction is 201 North Court Ave. It's located just down the block form the original E Charro restaurant. Very interesting galleries, shops etc. What is such a standout is the history of the buildings. Original adobe wall from the 1800's,...More

A little difficult to recommend. First, we had a real hard time finding it. We never did find the address on the building. This place is a little like a very small Old Town San Diego with little art shops around the outside of a...More

Shelago's Artwerks Gallery can be found in the Old Town Artisans Complex. Jim Shelago, silversmith, handcrafts all of his jewelry. His knowledge and passion for stone make him an excellent resource for valuable straight-forward information.

What a surprise where we didn't expect to find one. Not easy to find, but the shopping is awesome if you're looking for one of a kind items. And it includes an awesome restaurant, as well.
