A desert BOTANICAL garden with art and a cafe. A wonder way to spend a few hours or a whole day. Plenty to see and a nice place to relax. Lots of birds and butterflies.

We love this place, an island of desert gardens in the city with pleasant paths (finished and rustic), interesting plants and many inviting spots to appreciate the beautiful surroundings. The restaurant in the gardens is a pleasant interlude; lovely outdoor dining options. Friendly and informative...More

A delightful cafe and afternoon. Walking the paths and looking at the gardens. A lot of whimsical sculputures throughout that were delightful. Loved the horse and esp. the vulture!! A great afternoon! They even had music in a special area on this Sunday afternoon!!

We visited the Holiday lights last evening (12/1/17) and enjoyed the informative docents and the easy walkways. I guess I expected more color in the lights but it was lovely and we plan to return during daylight to be able to enjoy all of the...More

Went for lunch on a Friday. Didn't have reservations and had to wait about 15 minutes for a table in the back courtyard (well worth it). Interesting menu....lots of variation. Great coffee and desserts too! Nice to wander the gardens and the gift shop after!

We didn't think $13 per person was worth it since we didn't have the time. So we walked through the greenhouse/nursery and the gift shop. Both were nice and a good use of our 30 minutes.

Yes. The trails are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, and there are ramps into the main building and restaurant. The gift shop would be too tight for a wheelchair, I think.
