This place has an extensive collection of photographic art from many artist. It is worth dropping by and spending an hour or two going through their collection. If you like photography then this is a must see. Entrance is free.

The University is the repository for the entire Ansel Adams negative collection. Given their collection, it would seem there is an opportunity here for a world-class museum/exhibition. One that could be a real draw.....

I had been meaning to come here for quite some time as I live so close to the U of A. It's always closed on Sundays. Free and open to the public. T-F 9-4 and Sat 1-4pm. I particularly liked the pull out archive drawers...More

This museum/gallery is small but of very high quality worth the trip when combined with the universities art museum across the street. Use the covered university parking garage about a city block away.

I was in town and decided to drive 1/2 hour each way to check out the CCP. Nice works displayed by Ansel Strange and some others. Some History of the acquisition of Ansel' work is given as other interesting tid bits.

You might want to bring you own. There is no parking right out front of the Center, you have to park a little bit away and walk. The Center is closed on Mondays, but you can give them a call Tuesday morning before you go and... More
