Starr Pass is one of Tucson's most beautiful golf courses. There are actually three, nine hole tracks. I think each one has beautiful views, and some of the most difficult holes I've ever played. This is desert golf, and accuracy is paramount. Bad shots mean you will be digging a ball out of your bag...so bring a few sleeves if... More

This is a beautiful course with a great staff. We played in March and the course had many available tee times. Course was in very good shape with quick greens. This course is pretty narrow so make sure your game is on and drivers are straight. Fun times and can't wait to return!!! The restaurant is good for after golf... More

Arrived Tucson Late Tues night and stayed in a nearby Hotel. We were heading to a rental home that wasn't available until 3 PM on Wednesday. No problem play nearby Starr Pass (which we would have done sometime during our stay but would have been a 40 minute ride each way later). We found the course to be in excellent... More

Played this course over the Good Friday weekend. Beautiful setting, great range and practice area. Starters are very friendly and know what they are doing. The clubhouse staff are also very friendly and efficient. Saw the food/beverage cart 4 or 5 times during our 18 holes. The food/beverage cart person was also a pro. Knew when and where to stop... Beautiful course and helpful staff....had a wonderful day! Play was a little slow so it did take longer than expected. Lots of housing along the course but otherwise true desert scenery and roughs, even road runners!

We stayed here for a week and only played here once as it was a little pricey if you don't want to pay a lot for golf. We booked on golfnow and it was a definite stop for any avid golfer.

This course is a beautiful desert golf course with 27 holes. Every hole is set up very nicely with fantastic vistas and plenty of challenges. As with most desert courses, you go off of the fairway, you are definitely in trouble. I started off on the Rattler front nine and it lived up to its name, some fairways seem so... More

Our day started out auspiciously, when, while we were on the practice range, a coyote sat a few hundred yards away, head up, yipping and howling, in that classic pose. The rest of the day didn't disappoint. We played Rattler to Roadrunner. Beautiful desert scenery, very fun. There were many carries over desert "arroyos". Fairways were in very good condition,...
