This is a community theater who has put on some terrific performances. Best to get a seasons subscription [ we did and picked 6 shows out of the list which were offered for the year]. There has NOT been any of the shows we have not enjoyed. The seating is intimate being no more than 5 rows from the stage.... More

Just saw "No Way to Treat a Lady" and it was great! The theater is very small so you are right there with the actors. The cast was fantastic. This is a musical and the voices were wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

We are new to Tucson, and I'm always looking for fun activities to do with my 3.5 year old. I was excited to learn about Live Theatre Workshop especially after reading raving reviews online. We have now seen two shows there, the Christmas Sing-A-Long and The True Stories of the So-Called Big Bad Wolf. After two wonderful experiences, I will... More

I love their comic theater. I am going to every one of their shows this season. I even planned a group visit. I like some light hearted witty entertainment. Lots of parking. A number of good places to eat in the area. They put on an amazing production with such a limited budget. The whole audience roared. Standing ovation at... More

This theatre is full of fun and great talent. We've been to several performances now and never disappointed. The theatre is very small, you feel very connected to the entertainers. All the seats are great, the atmosphere is electric! Go see a show, you won't be disappointed.

We went to see a comedy, "Laughter on the 23rd Floor." The actors were good and very passionate but the material was dated, at best, and, honestly, not funny. There were only a couple of really good laughs throughout the entire play. The setting is intimate, Even though we sat in the back row, our visibility was fine and the... More

I have been truly amazed at the consistently good work by this theater group. I have been to several of their productions and have never been disappointed. Amazed, yes. Disappointed, no. The quality of acting, staging and directing are surprisingly good. Surprising because it is such a small theater in a a strip mall. The seating is intimate and there... More

This is a small theater, 94 seats, on three sides (occasionally in the round). It's storefront is located in a strip mall on Speedway. While they do everything, the acting troop typically does comedies and mysteries. There shows are typically on the weekend. Although during the week they do children's shows as well as acting classes for children and adults.... More

If local theater in an intimate setting is your cup of tea, you will truly savor Live Theater Workshop. My wife and I have been season ticket holders since moving to Tucson three years ago and have enjoyed this this company immenesly. The acting has been consistently good with performers ranging from high school students to accomplished professionals. The plays... More
