Go at your own pace. There are people with many levels of physical fitness. Take some water. Enjoy the view at the top and feel good about your accomplishment.

I come here often in the very early mornings. Running up this hill (run up to halfway, do some exercises, run to top, back to half, more exercises, back up, etc) is quite a workout. The view of Tucson is great and the sunrise is gorgeous. Not super crowded in the mornings. Parking can be a challenge.

This was a last minute trip while attending a conference. I did not really have much information about this attraction but fortunately I had my walking shoes with me. The views at the top are really good, you can see the city and the surrounding mountains and if you are at the top for sunset and you have no clouds,... More

Great up hill mountain that requires lots of strength and willingness to complete. Once you get to the top you will love the view in the evening.

Liked walking on the paved road and seeing the city lights along the way and at the top. Recommend taking a flashlight since it can get quite dark on the road at night. Also, be aware that the incline is pretty steep in places. Beautiful desert scenery. No entrance fees.

We planned our first walk up here on the full moon. It was wonderful!! We were worn out by the time we got to the top, but it was worth every step!

Trail is paved and safe, but steep. There is no fee. Good opportunity to exercise in the fresh air and nature. Almost downtown. Closed between 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM on work days. If you are a local, you have a good chance of seeing an acquaintance on the trail.

My sister and I always liked to do the 3 mile round trip hike when she visits from California. She is a strong hiker and we always do this walk two times to get a great 6 mile walk in before our day starts The views are great from the summit, giving a 360 degree picture of Tucson Last time... A slight workout climbing this hill on mostly paved road. It is worth it once you get to the top. You will encounter nice people of all ages and abilities

Thank jeff M
