This is an area that you will either drive or walk through. Some reviewers were upset that there's nothing to do, no signs for anything - people live here. It's a neighborhood, thus the name "barrio"... Be prepared to take lots of pictures! The character...More

What a lovely place to visit. The colors are so enjoyable to look at. I have many favorites. The area is lovely. Easy to park, walk around, and view. Don't forget your camera!

Was really looking forward to the buildings and history but didn't feel like the area was promoted. No signs for specific buildings or areas to check out.

This is an interesting part of Old Tucson in the middle of Downtown. We took a short walk from the St. Augustine Cathedral to see this area. There are a lot of colorful buildings and shops. Nice place to visit.

Fortunately the southwest has numerous "old" barrios and districts. Some are more interesting that others in large measure because some still have an authenticity of age and have not been so cleaned up as to appear somewhat sterile. Barrio Historic in Tucson is a lovely...More

Beautiful! Park at Meyer/19th, walk back. Continue on Meyer @ 19th and around the block to the left. Really a treasure, when you find it.

Barrio Historico covers about 20 blocks between Cushing Street and 18th Street and between Stone Avenue and the railroad tracks. It is one of my favorite areas of Tucson because of its history (settled in the mid-to-late 1800s), its Sonoran architecture and the bright colors....More
