Overall it was fine- It is a casino which is in a pretty rough part of town- The rooms were large and clean. Food quality and cost were good and very cheap. The pool and fitness center were very clean. Beds are somewhat hard but it was decent. Was here for business but would not pick this as a destination.

I stayed here in transit from the east a coast to the west and wanted to enjoy the last night before heading into California by hitting up the casino. Saw good reviews and decided to check it out. So glad I did! Great clean rooms! Super friendly staff! And I won big in the casino! Can't wait to make it... More

This is a very nice Casino, there is lots of parking but no too much shade. The inside is very nice. There is lots of space between machines. They have several areas with coffee, soft drinks and water (free) I found payouts were frequent. They have a buffet and several food areas around the outside upstairs from the floor area. The... Played video black jack and slots. Stay away from the penny slots - confusing and not fun. As you would expect, lots of cigarette smoke. Had most fun playing quarter slots.

We stop there for lunch and to lose $20 on the slots when we are in that area. The casino smells of smoke, but not as bad as some. Still, if you are a non-smoker it isn't a pleasant experience. Come on, make it non-smoking with a smoking room for those 'dying' to smoke. We've eaten at the Grill, were... More

We stayed in a room with two double beds; they were comfortable. The bathroom was not thoroughly cleaned, and the sink was unsanitary; I cleaned it myself before using it. Moldy with hairs and sticky spots. The staff was very nice and helpful; the coffee bar has very good espresso, but the milk for lattes comes from a powder. The... More

This Casino is average. the only tables are CARD tables. mostly bnlackjack. NO CRAPS, NO ROULETTE. the slot machines were ok, but two of the machines i used would not produce a voucher and i had to wait a rediculous amount of time for the staff to come give me a "handpay" if you happen to be in the area... It's a casino, and the odds are, as always, in favor of the house. But...they credit you $10 per person to start, AND $10 toward a meal! And the meals and drink prices are reasonable. So, for a evening of fun, with a almost free meal thrown in, it's a pretty good deal.

We visited the Desert Diamond Casino twice on our trip to Tucson, and very much enjoyed BOTH visits. And we didn't even win. The casino was clean, well laid out and NOT smoky. The attendants at the Player's Club Desk were funny, friendly and very helpful. We each received free play and a food voucher that we used at the... More
