Good for pirate lovers.

My husband and I went here as part of the 3-pack. Decent deal for 3 attractions. It was all the right kind of cheese. I enjoyed the sets even though they were a little dark. Our... read more

Salem is steeped in history, and piracy was grave concern for most of its history. We went as a family with older teens and it was worth a trip. Not worth a second trip at the moment like most of the museums in Salem. I think as it's new, it's a work in progress. The mummy at the end was... More

I'd be highly disappointed if the admission price had been higher. The displays are pretty cheesy. The darkness does a good job of hiding the shabbiness. It smells very musty which didn't bother is but may if you have allergies. The history itself was interesting but the tour guide was hum drum. I would have enjoyed it a lot more... More

We toured this museum as part of the three-pack ticket during the Haunted Happenings in Salem. Lots of interesting info about pirates from the Salem area that we didn't know. Recommend visiting here and doing it as one of the three-pack included museums.

This place was really cool! They have a few authentic Flintlocks and other weapons which was pretty cool to see. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, though he was definitely annoyed especially by crying kids (can't blame him! I'm sure it had been a long day of crying kids) It doesn't take up a lot of time either which was... More

ok, this is your typical tourist trap, kind of corny, displays are low tech but if you like pirates it's cool. Narrator is fun and informative, kids will like it but not really worth the money in a lot of markets, but kind of typical for salem. They have a pretty good deal if you are attending their other attractions... More
