If you can manage to walk here, you can skip the $15 parking fee. It's about a 1.5-2 mile walk from the Salem city center. The walk is safe and there's a path for you to walk on. We walked here and got an Uber...More

My husband and I drove from Ohio to spend a few days in Salem. We wanted to see this light house. It is very small but worth it. We walked out on the rocks to be out in the water and it was peaceful.

This is primarily a campground but we just spent a few hours walking the grounds and enjoyed it. Beaches were nice, Quiet places to walk and just sit. Beautiful views to water and lighthouse. Historical markers and old artillery bunkers make it interesting.
