The Paseo del Rio is San Antonio's favorite attraction. You can shop, dine, lounge in a cafe, or simply stroll along and let the strumming mariachi soothe your spirit.

Cool walk in hot territory. If you arrive by car you don't expect the relaxing coolness of this wonderful walk below trees and bridges with surprising plenitude of art, shos, restaurants and other attractions. We took a boat-tour and learned a lot about the city...More

The river walk is a great tourist attraction. I’ve been multiple times but I do not go regularly when I come to San Antonio because it’s always very crowded

Very nice specially at night!! Restaurants are over priced food is not great . I would choose county line if you like barbecue. Casa ole is not bad for Mexican food.

Yes this is one of the places that defines San Antonio. Off nights are best and definitely do the boat if it is your first time.

Very vibrant area during day and at night with mariachi bands, footbridges, loads of cafes, restaurants and bars. Take a walk and a boat cruise to experience the river walk.

Yes, boat tours are pet friendly. However I think restaurants you would need to speak with prior to entering. Outdoor dining I think wouldn’t be a problem at all on the Riverwalk. I also know The Omni La Maision is pet... More

I saw some rental scooters while we were there, so they must exist. Google that and you should be able to find the company.
