Great people watching

Great people watching and relaxing to sit in the evening. The riverboat tour also a great value--it was fun to learn about the history of some of the buildings and the town.

This was one of the best parts of my journey in San Antonio. It is HIGHLY romantic. If you need a place to go to propose, this is it! Not only is it beautiful but also, alot of shops and restaurants. I do remember seeing a British restaurant although, I ate at the Hard Rock cafe. For breakfast, I ate... More

We've been going since 1986. There's so many places to eat. We never get tired of going. We like to stay for a weekend and try something new. Our last meal was at Landry's bar. It was wonderful and they had a jazz band. Can't beat it.

Just a very nice scene...warm evenings with people everywhere dining and having drinks all along the water.

This is a great attraction that you only get in San Antonio. There are lots of bars, restaurants and shops to stop in. It does tend to get a little crowded, and I was surprised to see no barrier between the walk and the water on some stretches....a problem if you have an unsteady gait or have just been partaking... I went there to get to know the town. Is a really nice walk to take following the river and see the very lovely and inviting restaurants.

An overall great experience! There are more hotels, bars, restaurants than one could ever use. My favorite fun place was Dirty Nell's - an Irish pub full of rowdy, raunchy, ribald customers going until the wee hours. Excellent Fish and Chips. Las Cararies restaurant was an elegant, intimate dining experience. Having visited the Canary Islands several times; the food was... More
