Great place to enjoy the great outdoors via the Walking and biking trails, bird watch, take the train ride, visit the Japanese Sunken Gardens, go to the San Antonio Zoo, play golf and check out the Witte Museum.

We wanted to do something outside of the River Walk area on the day we had a rental car. Our visit was mainly drive through with short walks. It is a very large park with many interesting stopping spots. The Japanese/Chinese tea garden is a...More

It is fun to drive through, not sure I would walk through. If using picnic tables, bring your own tablecloth, so your table will be really clean. It is best to drive through it and go eat a hamburger at the Sonic on Broadway! Better...More

We were pleased to see so many active people in the city. Joggers of all ages were out in abundance even before the sun went down.

Nice park with great potential but just too many homeless and garbage around. Its a travesty considering the cost to live this close to downtown. The dogs are not picked up after and makes it a bit nasty. SA, you could do better.

With delicious BBQ from a nearby but well known spot, we drove through and found a place to "picnic". Lots of families were out doing the same, playing games, flying kites, enjoying the fall weather. This followed our zoo visit and was a good respite...More
