I needed a place for my toddler to run around before we drove back to Austin and my friend recommended this park. Parking was tough to find, but the playground was excellent and my daughter loved watching the ducks. Bathrooms are a bit grungy, but they work. I'm sure there's more to this park than just the playground - perhaps... More

Plenty of parking and bike share stations which make it a great location for either a casual stroll or ride after a quick drive from downtown.

While visiting a few attractions next to the park I had a chance to go through it and view the many activities. First off the park is surrounded by the Japanese Gardens, The San Antonio Zoo, The Witte Museum and there is also a small children's park on the south that has rides. While in the park I noticed several... More

We went to the park so we could visit the adjacent Japanese Gardens, but found the park to be an added bonus, good parking and the little train does a full loop of the park with many stops available.

A little piece of paradise nestled in the middle of the city. The park is divided into themes the most popular being the Japanese tea garden. There is water galore here, and it all comes from an under ground aquifer. There are ducks, geese, cranes, even a few fishermen on the banks here. It's hard to believe all this started... More

We often stop by here when we are at the zoo. Its very scenic and quite peaceful. It could be better maintained but that can be said for a lot of outdoor places.

This park and walking path is the he perfect place to spend a Spring vacation day! Although it was a weekday, Brackenridge Park was filled with folks of all ages. Many people were spending their lunch hours in the open air, walking or picnicing. The park is clean and trim. Walking along the river, we could see kayakers, water-boarders, and... More

Our family had a great time visiting Brackenridge Park. We probably only saw a fraction of the park. We were fortunate to be able to ride on the Zoo Eagle Train to see some of the park. We also toured the Japanese sunken gardens. We would love to come here again to see the zoo and the botanical garden. San... More
